Bio:Janice Phelps Williams is involved in many endeavors related to publishing, writing, and art. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kent State University and began working in publishing in 1993. Since 1998, Janice has worked on 200+ titles, including several winners and finalists of book award contests, such as the Ben Franklin Awards, IPPY Awards, Robert Kennedy Book Awards, and the Writers’ Digest Self-Published Book Awards.

In 2010, Still Her Spirit Sings by Robert W. Kurkela was published by Kidzpoetz Publishing. Janice provided the illustrations for this childrens' book about a dog's life.

She is the designer, illustrator, and publisher of the Will Turner’s Flight Logs series of books by British author, Chris Davey. New York Times best-selling author Jean Sassoon included three of her illustrations in Esther’s Child, and Library School Journal noted the “attractive black and white illustrations” in its review of the book. Janice is the author of four books, including Wham! Bam! Publishing: The Strategic Marketing Plan for Authors and Publishers (with Joan E. Phelps) and Open Your Heart with Pets: Mastering Life through Love of Animals (Dreamtime Publishing, 2007).

A member of the Independent Book Publishers Association (formerly PMA) since 1999, Janice founded Lucky Press that same year and has published the work of more than a dozen authors.
